Clarence was invited on to ITV Meridian's monthly political show The Last Word on Thursday to discuss, among other things, energy prices and open primaries. Clarence was joined by two other PPCs on the show, which also included a discussion about Margaret Thatcher, who Clarence knew well from his time as a reporter on the Hendon and Finchley Times.

Clarence energised and inspired students at City College Brighton with an exciting, informative and engaging talk on Monday. Clarence spoke about his time as a junior reporter in local newspapers, through his time working for the BBC and the Cabinet Office, to his current position on the European media team of PR firm Burson-Marsteller. He also spoke about his selection as the Tory PPC for Brighton Pavilion and his campaign in general.
